Single

Naked Single
After writing down all the candidate values into the cells, you can come across a 'Naked Single', which means that there is only one possible value for that cell. When a cell can have only one value, this value can be safely assigned to that cell. In the example the highlighted cell can only contain the value 3.

When a value is assigned to a cell, this value can be excluded as a candidate from all other cells sharing the same row, column or box.
